Mitra Kazemzadeh, MD, is a family physician, yoga and meditation instructor, and awareness teacher with a strong interest in the connection between mind, body, and emotional well-being.
She completed a 240-hour Yoga Teacher Training program at the Vancouver School of Healing Arts and the Becoming a Teacher of Presence program through Eckhart Tolle’s School of Awakening. Her teaching integrates mindfulness, mindfulness yoga, meditation, and practical approaches to cultivating greater presence and inner balance.
She is the author of the A Small Step, A Big Change series, which explores how everyday thoughts, habits, and attitudes influence well-being and personal growth. Her published books include Before You Judge, Before You Resist, and Before You Expect.
